KOJA_1081107783: How did i make the card??

My progress yee..

First,like all of my previous works,i sketch my design on a piece of paper.just a rough sketch to get the idea of the design. Here i started making the outline with Ai as well..(On the left is the tambourine and 'kompang',in the middle is 'pulut kuning' and on the right is packets of money usually called 'angpau'..ill put up the explanation for all these later)..continue!

and this is the outline which iv traced from my sketch,press Delete button to erase the sketched outline,then put all this in one layer..

to fill in color in an area,again,like i did on my calendar assignment,make a path by selecting the area using the selection tool (V), exp; the 'pulut kuning', using the Live Paint Bucket(K),click it on the 'pulut kuning' as shown below,see,the red line will appear..

pick a color in the color swatches and click on the area..there~

coloring,done..now to make it stand out,i just added shadows and some minor effects,exp, the candle's flame using gradient(red + orange),type ; radial..

So this is how it looks like,i repeatedly used gradient on the tambourine, 'kompang', angpau and the plate..

Make another layer for the background,using gradient again,type; linear,angle; 90 degrees.For this,i used 'extra' light yellow eheh...

This is the second background,also put this in a new layer,point is so that it can be edited easily.I used this nice soft pink color for it.You can choose the color from the color picker,just click twice on the box shown by the red arrow..

Now,to make the background for the greeting text.Open a new document/canvas,select Rectangle tool (M) and make a vertical rectangle like this..

Next,make another rectangle by selecting the one that you've made, press control C to copy and control V to paste(i didnt know how to do the copy paste till charlotte told me,credits to u!)...

Now do the same thing again by selecting the two rectangle and copy paste it which gives you another two! adoi-.-..

You get the idea now so just copy paste it until you fill in the whole space. For this i made 2 different colour sripes.

Next step,select the background,click on it and drag it to your birthday card as shown below..

Place the background nicely^-^..Lets move on to the text layout eh. As you can see,i made the text 'Allah selamatkan kamu!' in a wide, curved position to fill in the upper space..you can do this by first select the text and then select the 'make envelope' button and choose arc...

type of fonts and size i picked..

and for the greeting text..an olive green color.font type; Cooper Std, size; 47.. i circled it black.its not black by the way,im color blind for awhile there=.=' ..
