The progress..

My sketch for the calendar.This is how it'll turn out to be later..








Firstly i traced my sketch using the pen tool..










I selected a collection of paths to color the calendar by using the Live Paint Bucket,just click the Live Paint Bucket tool on the paths of the drawing then paint the areas between paths(the red outline is the area where you want to color)..starting with the background.I used gradient tool for the background,blue+purple color on the right side and yellow+red color on the left side.






Then i colored the house and the mosque black and added some gradient effect (yellow+black) for the window of the house..
